Some people may wonder if it's alright for a Christian to play videogames. The Bible doesn't talk about them specifically, so what do we do? Here I show my personal opinion on the matter. Note: This is my OPINION on the matter. It is not the final word. Everyone has their own beliefs, and the following are mine.
Titus 2:11-13 "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;"

Some may say videogames are 'ungodly lusts', which I suppose they may be if you allow them to. I believe videogames are OK in moderation. Do not allow games to take up more time than you spend with Christ, that would make it an idol. "Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry" 1 Corinthians 10:14.

I personally prefer games under the T rating. T is for Teen, and usually includes blood, cuss words, or suggestive themes. Most games under T are OK, though I won't promise anything. If you have questions about a game, try to do some research about it on the internet, talk to your parents, and pray to God. If you still think you shouldn't play it, then don't play it. You may not like some of the games I list, and that's OK. I won't force you to play them or anything.
